Stress seems to be a huge thing here at Carolina!
I have heard countless stories of people breaking down (myself included) over work, studying, or tests! I can't believe it is only the first semester in college and people are having so much trouble with the stress (myself included again).
For the first semester of school, it seems like we shouldn't be stressing this much.
Another question: If we are paying and picking our classes, should we be stressing?

I think that people that stressed a lot in high school are going to continue to stress in college and those that didn't will stress too! The academic life of a student is almost meant to be more than they can handle, especially the years go on. It's a way of separating the best from the best. I think that freshman classes definitely are not as stressful as other years but the fact that it's our first year makes it a wake up call for us.
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm also very stressed. I think that most First-Year students are stressed because of the change in environment. If you find a way to relax, let me know!
ReplyDeleteYa I guess we all seem to get stressed out right away because we know we have to get good grades to stay in school. When we understand the system and know how to manage our time a little better, I'm sure it'll be a breeze, even with the tougher classes. I've tried not to stress over tests up to this point, but everyone does it...
